Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Saudi Arabia seeks a Testing & Commissioning Manager – PV Inverter Specialist to lead the technical commissioning of inverter systems in large-scale solar PV plants, ensuring safe energization, grid-code compliance, and reliable operation with PPC, SCADA, and grid infrastructure.

You will coordinate with PPC engineers, SCADA teams, and grid utility partners; review drawings, protection philosophies, and control architectures; develop test procedures; and deliver commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.
• 12–15 years of solar inverter commissioning experience.
• Direct OEM commissioning exposure preferred.
• Grid-code compliance testing experience mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical commissioning of large-scale PV inverter systems.
• Review inverter drawings, protection philosophy, and control architecture.
• Coordinate with PPC, SCADA, and grid teams during commissioning and startup.
• Prepare commissioning records and handover documentation.
• Ensure IEC 62109-1/2, IEC 61727, IEC 62116 compliance and grid integration tests.
