Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Saudi Arabia seeks a Testing & Commissioning Manager (Wind Turbine Specialist) to plan, execute and coordinate WTGs commissioning for utility-scale wind projects. You will ensure electrical, control, and grid interfaces meet OEM, safety and grid-code requirements prior to handover.

The role requires strong leadership, deep WTG knowledge, and collaboration with EPCs, OEMs and grid operators to deliver safe, reliable performance and compliant handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 12-15 years of wind turbine generator commissioning experience.
• OEM commissioning authorization strongly preferred.
• Certified Engineer status is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and assure commissioning of WTGs per standards.
• Lead mechanical, electrical, control and grid-interface commissioning.
• Coordinate with EPC, OEM and grid operator for sequencing.
• Validate safety, testing and handover documentation.
• Review FATs, procedures, risk assessments and punch points.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training for O&M teams.
