Job summary

Samara in Riyadh is seeking a purchasing professional to oversee procurement of goods and services, maintain relationships with key suppliers, and ensure high quality and timely delivery.

The role requires 2-3 years of relevant experience, proficiency in English and Arabic, and strong negotiation and reporting skills. The incumbent will manage POs, track deliveries, and maintain supplier records from a Riyadh-based site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s in supply chain, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
• 2-3 years of experience in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Research potential vendors to procure equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Compare and evaluate offers based on price, terms, delivery, and quality.
• Negotiate contract terms, shipping terms and pricing.
• Issue POs and track orders for timely delivery.
• Inspect delivered products and report issues.
• Enter order details into internal databases and maintain records.
• Prepare reports on purchases including cost analyses.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.

Oversee the responsibility of purchasing of goods and services for the company while maintaining good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.

Accountabilities

• Research potential vendors to procure equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure the best quality and price.
• Compare and evaluate offers based on prices, terms, delivery schedule, supplier performance, product quality and approvals from departments.
• Negotiate contract terms, shipping terms and pricing to make sure sourcing of items done cost effectively and efficiently
• Issue POs and track the orders to ensure timely delivery
• Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely.
• Enter order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed

Qualification

• Diploma or bachelor’s in supply chain, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
