Job summary

A prestigious medical facility in Medina is seeking a Coordinator to oversee medical care services for royals and VIPs. Responsibilities include managing patient appointments, ensuring confidentiality, and coordinating with various hospital departments. A master's or bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration or a related field is required, along with three to five years of relevant experience. This role is exclusive to Saudi Nationals.

Job description
Summary

Responsible for co‑ordinating and performing a variety of functions to facilitate the hospital's medical care services to the Royalties and VIPs including processing of documents associated with their appointments, admissions, billing and liaison (escort services).

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Coordinates and makes arrangement for Protocol patient requiring health care services on a 24‑hour basis in accordance with approved protocol procedure.
  2. Meets Protocol patients and accompanies them to the designated clinics or rooms, as assigned and provides assistance as necessary.
  3. Coordinates and makes necessary communication and arrangements for Protocol patient, either for pre‑arranged or acute visits.
  4. Responsible for ensuring strict patient confidentiality regarding names of patients, treating physicians and all matters relating to patients' treatment and condition.
  5. Familiarizes himself/herself with Hospital organizational structure, names and positions of its principal office holders, Protocol Services' operations, operational relationships with other departments, names of Hospital physicians, their specialties and departments, and their monthly leave and clinic schedules.
  6. Takes the necessary action to ensure that sufficient support services are available, such as clerks, housekeepers, PCAs, etc., and to make the necessary communication for any extra needs or deficiencies in the Hospital.
  7. Responsible for coordinating special functions with Hospital departments, outside agencies, and other companies.
  8. Responsible for conducting periodic rounds of the D2 and D4 wards to ensure optimum services are delivered to the inpatients and any complaints/queries are responded to as per the Protocol policies and procedures.
  9. Responsible for monitoring and reporting department performance, quality and fiscal objectives.
  10. Follows all hospital‑related policies and procedures.
  11. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.
Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospital/ Business Administration, Public Relationsor any related discipline is required.

Experience Required

Three (3) years of related experience in Public Relations, Patient Services/Relations or other related field with Master’s or five (5) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.
