Job summary

Compass Project Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead mixed-use and hospitality projects in Saudi Arabia from planning to handover. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and quality while coordinating with developers, clients, consultants, and contractors.

The role requires 12–15 years in PM within construction/real estate or consultancy, strong planning/budgeting skills, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of project management experience in construction, real estate development, or consultancy.
• Proven experience working on mixed-use and hospitality projects.
• Experience working on the developer or client side; Project Management Consultancy (PMC) experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, risk management, procurement, and contract administration.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with developers, clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare professional reports and engage senior stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications, such as PMP or equivalent, are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mixed-use and hospitality projects from planning through handover.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and overall performance for successful delivery.
• Coordinate with developers, clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve objectives.
• Manage planning, progress monitoring, reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Oversee design coordination, procurement, tendering, and contract administration.
• Monitor costs, budgets, cash flow, variations, and change management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, specifications, quality standards, safety, and regulations.
• Lead meetings, provide progress reports, and communicate status, risks, and mitigation to senior management and clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, optimize resources, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure effective coordination among stakeholders and timely resolution of issues.

• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, variations, and change management to maintain financial control.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, quality standards, health and safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Lead project meetings, provide regular progress reports, and communicate project status, risks, and mitigation measures to senior management and clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency, optimize resources, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
