Job summary

International Window Company in Jeddah is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver construction, fit-out, renovation, and industrial projects. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and safety from award to closeout.

The ideal candidate holds a civil/construction degree, PMP, 5+ years of relevant experience in the region, and a proven track record in client communication, risk management, and quality control.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction, fit-out, renovation, industrial, or commercial projects.
  • PMP or an equivalent project-management certification is preferred.
  • Saudi Council of Engineers registration is preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Review the contract, scope of work, BOQ, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
  • Develop the project execution plan, work programme, procurement schedule, and resource plan.
  • Establish project milestones, responsibilities, reporting procedures, and communication channels.
  • Coordinate site mobilization, permits, temporary facilities, manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Identify project risks, constraints, and long-lead items at an early stage.
  • Manage daily project activities to ensure completion according to the approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate the activities of engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and labour teams.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and monitor productivity, workmanship, and material usage. Resolve technical, operational, and coordination issues affecting project progress.
  • Ensure that approved drawings, specifications, materials, and method statements are followed.
  • Prepare recovery and corrective-action plans when the project falls behind schedule.
  • Coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, samples, method statements, and technical approvals.
  • Raise and follow up RFIs, inspection requests, and technical clarifications.
  • Identify conflicts or discrepancies between drawings, specifications, BOQs, and actual site conditions.
  • Coordinate with designers, consultants, and technical teams to resolve design and construction issues.
  • Ensure all approved technical changes are properly recorded and communicated.
  • Act as the main point of contact for consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Conduct progress, coordination, and technical meetings.
  • Prepare and circulate meeting minutes, action plans, and follow-up records.
  • Provide management with accurate progress updates.
  • Maintain professional relationships and manage expectations throughout the project.
  • Escalate critical issues requiring management decisions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate inspections with consultants and client representatives.
  • Monitor inspection results, observations, and non-conformance reports.
  • Ensure corrective actions are completed and properly documented.Manage snagging, rectification, final inspections, and project handover.
  • Maintain complete quality records throughout the project.
  • Ensure project activities comply with company and client health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Coordinate with the HSE team to implement the approved safety plan.
  • Verify that workers and subcontractors follow site safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
  • Stop or report unsafe activities and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
  • Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations when required.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Update the project schedule and monitor actual progress against planned progress.
  • Maintain records of correspondence, approvals, drawings, submittals, inspections, variations, and site instructions.
  • Prepare progress photographs, manpower reports, material-tracking logs, and procurement updates.
  • Maintain an updated risk register, issue log, variation log, and action tracker.
  • Ensure all project documents are properly controlled, organized, and available for review.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and final approvals.
  • Prepare and submit as-built drawings, warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, and closeout documents.
  • Ensure all snagging and outstanding works are completed before final handover.
  • Obtain signed delivery reports, completion certificates, and client acceptance documents.
  • Coordinate the release of final payments, retention amounts, and performance guarantees when applicable.
  • Conduct a project closeout review and document lessons learned.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
  • Ability to review AutoCAD drawings; knowledge of Revit or BIM is an advantage.
  • Ability to prepare professional reports, correspondence, presentations, and project documentation.

  • Valid Saudi driving licence is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate between project sites when required.
