Job summary

JACR for Petroleum & Industrial services seeks an experienced supervisor to lead teams performing Catalyst Handling, Hydro Jetting, and Chemical Cleaning across field projects in Saudi Arabia. You will oversee mobilization, staffing, safety, and daily reporting, ensuring work aligns with procedures and client specs.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Engineering with 10+ years in relevant industrial services, strong leadership, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Catalyst Handling, Hydro Jetting, Chemical Cleaning, or similar industrial services.
• Experience in a supervisory role within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Industrial Services sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Catalyst Handling, Hydro Jetting, and Chemical Cleaning operations.
• Solid understanding of HSE requirements and safe work practices in industrial/Oil & Gas environments.
• Familiarity with PTW, JSA, Risk Assessments, Toolbox Talks, and emergency procedures.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate large workforces across multiple projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and manpower management skills.
• Ability to coordinate with clients and internal departments effectively.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong English written and spoken communication.
• Ability to work under pressure in field environments.
• Experience with major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical clients is highly preferred.
• Aramco, Ma’aden, SABIC, or similar project experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage work crews involved in Catalyst Handling, Hydro Jetting, and Chemical Cleaning activities.
• Coordinate and monitor mobilization and transfer of employees between projects and sites as needed.
• Manage daily manpower allocation, attendance, and productivity.
• Coordinate with Operations, HR, HSE, Logistics, and other departments on manpower and project requirements.
• Ensure staff are assigned and available per schedules and operational needs.
• Ensure work follows approved procedures, method statements, client requirements, and project specs.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and site safety procedures.
• Implement PTW, JSA, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety measures.
• Conduct daily briefings and provide clear instructions to workers.
• Monitor performance and productivity; provide feedback to management.
• Coordinate with client representatives and site management for smooth execution.
• Monitor equipment, tools, PPE, chemicals, and materials usage.
• Submit daily reports on manpower, progress, productivity, hours, and issues.
• Identify and resolve operational issues; escalate major concerns as needed.
• Train, guide, and coach employees on safe work practices and compliance.
• Ensure activities are completed on schedule and to required quality.
• Support project mobilization/demobilization as required.
• Be available for field work and extended hours per project needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage work crews involved in strong Catalyst Handling Hydro Jetting and Chemical Cleaning activities
• Coordinate and monitor the strong mobilization and transfer of employees and workers between different projects and sites based on operational requirements
• Manage manpower allocation daily workforce distribution attendance and productivity
• Coordinate with Operations HR HSE Logistics and other departments regarding manpower and project requirements
• Ensure that all employees are properly assigned and available according to project schedules and operational needs
• Have strong knowledge of Catalyst Handling Hydro Jetting and Chemical Cleaning methods and procedures
• Ensure that work is performed according to approved procedures method statements client requirements and project specifications
• Ensure full compliance with Health Safety Environmental HSE requirements and site safety procedures
• Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work PTW Job Safety Analysis JSA Risk Assessments Toolbox Talks and other safety requirements
• Conduct daily briefings and provide clear instructions to workers before starting work
• Monitor the performance and productivity of employees and provide feedback to management
• Coordinate with client representatives and site management to ensure smooth execution of activities
• Monitor the availability and proper use of equipment tools PPE chemicals and other required materials
• Prepare and submit daily reports covering manpower work progress productivity working hours and operational issues
• Identify and resolve operational issues and elevate major concerns to management when required
• Train guide and coach employees to ensure proper work practices and compliance with safety requirements
• Ensure that all activities are completed within the planned schedule and required quality standards
• Support project mobilization and demobilization activities when required
• Be available to work in field locations and extended working hours according to project requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Catalyst Handling, Hydro Jetting, Chemical Cleaning, or similar industrial services.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Industrial Services sector.
• Strong knowledge of Catalyst Handling, Hydro Jetting, and Chemical Cleaning operations.
• Strong knowledge of HSE requirements and safe work practices in industrial and Oil & Gas environments.
• Good understanding of PTW, JSA, Risk Assessment, Toolbox Talks, and emergency procedures.
• Proven experience in managing and coordinating large workforces across multiple projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and manpower management skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with clients and internal departments.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
