Education & Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Discipline
• Minimum 20 years’ experience in BIM Field
• Preferable to have BIM certificates
• Infrastructure knowledge is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development, implementation, and enforcement of building information modeling (BIM) standard
• BIM problems troubleshooting
• Customizing the standards (templates, and families) to meet the client/ project standards; preparing the project BIM execution plan
• Managing the project model structure with the design team
• Facilitating use of composite design
• Coordination/ holding clash detection meetings and providing clash detection report by Navisworks
• Assuring that the design deliverables specified in the contract are provided in accordance with the standard
• Providing internal training for BIM software; preparing training handout materials;
• Reviewing of LEED submissions
• 2d and 3d coordination with all disciplines
• Teaching professional courses for BIM management, BIM workflow, Revit (basic and advanced levels), Navisworks, and LEED GA and AP
• Covering architectural design, detailed design, preparation of working drawings, tender documents and construction documents
• Reviewing project design with municipality regulations and preparing drawings permit
• Coordinating with other related departments to get best integrated solutions
• Professional user of Revit architecture and Navisworks
• Cad/ BIM training and management
