Job summary

SASREF in Saudi Arabia is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead refinery-related programs from concept through closeout within budget and schedule.

You will engage with stakeholders across departments, review scopes, organize CAPEX plans, and support technical committee approvals while ensuring HSE and cybersecurity requirements are met.

Minimum 6 years in project management with a B.S. in Engineering; PMP preferred; excellent English skills required.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering.
• PMP certificate preferred.
• Proficient in English language skills (Spoken and Written).

Responsibilities

• Review project scope and prepare concept packages.
• Support MTA Scoring Sessions for project prioritization.
• Organize and develop CAPEX business plan yearly.
• Support area projects in Technical Committee (TCM) approvals.
• Review project schedule to ensure timely implementation.
• Analyse schedule and costs, provide corrective actions where needed.

Job description

Manage and deliver multiple projects from concept development to closeout phase within controlled budget and defined schedule. Engage with stakeholders (other departments) to ensure scope clarifications; seek support in reviews of packages, construction, handover and closeout activities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Review Project scope and prepare concept packages.
• Support MTA Scoring Sessions for project Prioritization
• Organize and develop Projects CAPEX Business Plan on yearly basis
• Support the respective area project in the Technical Committee (TCM) for development and implementation approvals.
• Review project schedule at initial phase of the project to ensure implementation
• Analyse schedule, cost, deliverables; provide corrective action where needed.
• Ensure Projects run on scheduled to achieve the target spending plan
• Arrange for frequent meetings with MPE Engineering and Construction counterparts with a view to understand the status of the projects and address any concerns by taking to Spirit Meeting and/or own Supervisor/ Department Manager
• Attend regular Spirit Meeting providing requested feedback and seeking support from other Spirit Team Members.
• Communicate and coordinate with sponsor and other stakeholders as required.
