A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced engineer for a role in Saudi Arabia focusing on refining and oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of experience in relevant industries and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Key responsibilities include managing capital projects from design to completion and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Preference will be given to candidates with FE and PE certifications. This role offers an opportunity to work on significant projects in a dynamic environment.
Minimum of 5-10 years experience within refining /oil and gas plants /petrochemical industries. Be able to demonstrate proficiency in the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry, i.e., API, ISO, ASME, Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of metering systems and Experience in process safety related activities like HAZOP, risk Assessment etc is preferred.
Bachelor degree in chemical Engineering
Reviews the work performed elsewhere than in SAO for conformance with SAO conditions and to assure its appropriate relationship to existing installations; and if required, redesigns and recommends necessary modifications. Outlines the supporting service requirements such as drafting, surveying, materials take-off, requisitioning and clerical services; checks and coordinates the progress of such work; and reviews it for accuracy upon completion. Develops Cost estimates for the cost of engineering, labor, equipment and materials based on analysis of preliminary design data; draws up the expenditure request and justification; and assembles the supporting detail. Assists other engineers in the solution of problems outside their specialty (application). Initiates reports, assembles performance data and conducts studies relative to the development, procurement or adaptation of equipment; interpreting the meaning and application of codes and standards, reviewing operating procedures and safety instructions. Development of engineering, material and equipment specifications and resolves related engineering problems. Applies accepted engineering principles, codes and standards; making the necessary diagrams and calculations; and considering the economic factors involved. Develops solutions and formulates design basis by collecting and analyzing data relative to operating requirements, process and economic considerations to support proposals for new construction, modifications or equipment maintenance. Follows and inspects the construction progress of assigned projects assuring conformance with company engineering requirements; Recommends or confirms design changes, material and equipment substitutes; and assures that cost is within appropriated funds or justifies incurred overrun.
