Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Project Controls Manager - Saudi National to lead the project controls function on a major infrastructure programme. You will develop and implement controls strategies, manage cost, schedule, risk and document control, and deliver proactive reporting to the Project Director.

The role requires 15+ years in project controls, strong CPM, and experience with Primavera; MRICS/MCIOB is valued. Fluent English and Middle East exposure are preferred for success.

Qualifications

• BSc in construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 15 years of overall relevant experience.
• Minimum 10 years in project controls roles.
• Minimum 5 years regional experience.
• MRICS or MCIOB charterships required.
• Strong knowledge of CPM networks, resource loading, and risk management.
• Proficient with MS Office and Primavera.
• Middle East experience is advantageous.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Project Controls Manager - Saudi National

The Role

Reporting to the Project Director and responsible for developing, implementing and managing the planning, estimating, cost control, risk management and document control services and for providing information to allow proactive and accurate reporting for the project.

Project Description

The project is a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development aiming to be a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination in Riyadh. The community will be a distinct, self-sustaining hub for Riyadh offering several iconic assets. KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project controls team.

Experience, Skills And Knowledge

• BSc construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum overall relevant experience 15 years.
• Minimum relevant experience 10 years in the role projects.
• Minimum Regional Experience 5 years.
• Required professional memberships and charterships required MRICS or MCIOB required.
• Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and utilities.
• Excellent knowledge of CPM networks, resource and cost loading and risk management techniques.
• Ability to effectively monitor and analyse progress, cost, and risks, identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Experienced user of MS Office and Primavera
• Previous experience in the Middle East is advantageous
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.
