Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Saudi Arabia is seeking a seasoned Project Controls specialist to manage planning, scheduling and cost control for utility-scale PV Solar EPC projects in Riyadh. You will drive forecasts, track progress, and ensure alignment with schedule and budget.

You will implement Earned Value Management, monitor SPI/CPI, and prepare management reports, dashboards and change control documentation for senior project leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls for large EPC projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and earned value management.
• Strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project baseline, schedules, and look-ahead plans.
• Monitor progress, critical path, milestones and schedule performance.
• Prepare weekly/monthly controls reports, dashboards, and S-curves.
• Manage cost, commitments, actuals, forecasts and EAC.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams.

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress monitoring, forecasting, risk management and reporting for utility-scale PV Solar EPC projects, ensuring delivery within approved schedule, budget and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project baseline, detailed schedules and look-ahead plans using Primavera P6.
• Monitor planned vs. actual progress, critical path, milestones and schedule performance.
• Prepare weekly/monthly project controls reports, dashboards, S-curves and management reports.
• Manage project cost, commitments, actuals, forecasts and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Implement Earned Value Management and monitor SPI, CPI, PV, EV and AC.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, T&C, Commercial, Finance and subcontractor teams.
• Monitor manpower, resources, productivity and subcontractor performance.
• Maintain project risk, change, variation and delay registers.
• Identify schedule/cost deviations and develop recovery and mitigation plans.
• Support delay analysis, variation, claims and extension-of-time assessments.
• Ensure accurate physical progress measurement and alignment between schedule and cost.
• Maintain project control procedures, records and approved baseline/change history.
• Provide timely and accurate project performance information to project management.
• Ensure compliance with company and contractual project reporting requirements.
