Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Jeddah is seeking a Project Controls professional to plan, monitor, and control EPC schedules using Primavera P6, and coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams.

You will develop baselines, look-ahead plans, dashboards, and KPIs, prepare progress reports, and support cost, schedule, and risk decisions for the project.

This role requires strong analytical skills and close collaboration with SEC, National Grid, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and update detailed EPC project schedules using Primavera P6
• Prepare and manage baseline, recovery, and look-ahead schedules
• Monitor progress against approved schedules and highlight deviations
• Perform critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays
• Forecast project completion dates and support schedule decisions
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and client submissions
• Develop project dashboards, progress measurement systems, S-curves, and resource histograms
• Track productivity, resource utilization, and KPIs
• Maintain project planning records and reporting documentation
• Monitor material procurement, manufacturing inspection, shipment, and site delivery milestones
• Forecast material requirements and coordinate clearances in line with project schedules
• Track vendor and subcontractor deliverables against contractual milestones
• Support mobilization of suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare cost summaries and mobilization estimates based on quotations
• Develop techno-commercial reports to monitor financial performance and project health
• Assist in cash flow forecasting, cost-to-complete monitoring, and project performance analysis
• Support change management, delay analysis, and EOT evaluations
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, HSE, and commercial teams for schedule updates
• Participate in progress review meetings with SEC, National Grid, subcontractors and project stakeholders
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures
