Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced Project Controls Engineer in Riyadh to strengthen the cost management and reporting function. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and Earned Value analysis to support project performance and timely financial closure.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of project controls experience, PMP is preferred, and proficiency in Excel, Primavera P6, Power BI and ERP systems will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in project controls and cost management.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Power BI or ERP systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Track project costs and analyze variances against budgets.
• Prepare and maintain BAC, ETC, and EAC.
• Monitor progress and financial performance.
• Prepare cost forecasts, cash-flow reports, and dashboards.
• Support project managers in identifying cost risks and corrective actions.
• Apply Earned Value Management and track KPIs.
• Coordinate with teams for accurate reporting.
• Support monthly project reviews and financial closing activities.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of project management, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and project performance reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Track project costs and analyze variances against approved budgets.
• Prepare and maintain Budget at Completion (BAC), Estimate to Complete (ETC), and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Monitor project progress and financial performance.
• Prepare cost forecasts, cash-flow reports, and management dashboards.
• Support project managers in identifying cost risks and implementing corrective actions.
• Apply Earned Value Management principles and track key performance indicators.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Support monthly project reviews and financial closing activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in project controls and cost management.
• Experience in project budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project controls/reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Power BI, or ERP systems is an advantage.
