Qualifications

  • Minimum 20 years’ experience in managing large-scale infrastructure programs consisting of multiple projects.
  • Experience with major government and/or semi-government program and projects implementations.
  • Extensive experience in construction management of water and wastewater works.
  • Experience implementing a zero-accident philosophy.
  • A record of engagement with government entities / utility providers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of working internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for construction projects.
  • Develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal ROI and coordinate cross-project initiatives.
  • Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Develop and manage budgets and be accountable for delivering against goals.
  • Identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks and produce program reports.
  • Communicate with Client’s representatives regarding progress and concerns.
  • Develop and administer project budgets, contracts, and quality controls.
  • Direct work sequencing to expedite delivery and minimize disruption.
  • Ensure projects comply with design specifications and client requirements.
  • Stay informed of Quality/Environmental/Safety policies and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for the construction project.
  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
  • Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
  • Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
  • Communicate with the Client’s representatives continuously regarding Project Progress and areas of concerns.
  • Develop and administer project budgets and fiscal controls, contracts, and quality control provisions.
  • Direct work sequencing to expedite projects delivery and to minimize disruption of ongoing operations.
  • Ensure that projects operations are in compliance with design specifications and with client requirements.
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
