Job summary

Career Land Center in Saudi Arabia seeks a Professor to lead the Support Studies division, teaching across Computer Studies, Islamic Studies, and Skills courses, and advancing curriculum and program quality.

The successful candidate will drive research, supervise students and junior faculty, contribute to accreditation, and promote interdisciplinary, digitally-enabled teaching within a senior academic environment. Candidates should hold a PhD and have 5+ years of higher education experience.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Islamic Studies, Education, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of higher education teaching experience.
• Strong record of academic research and publications.
• Experience in curriculum development and academic leadership.
• Ability to contribute across interdisciplinary support studies programs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills in English (Arabic an advantage).
• Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures in CS, Islamic Studies, and Skills courses.
• Lead curriculum development and enhancements of support study programs.
• Supervise student research, projects, and assignments.
• Maintain an active research profile and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Provide academic leadership and mentoring for junior faculty.
• Contribute to accreditation, quality assurance, and program evaluation.
• Participate in departmental planning and institutional initiatives.
• Promote interdisciplinary learning and integration of applied skills.
• Support development of innovative teaching methods and digital tools.
