Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a production team and coordinating shifts.
• Familiarity with safety, hygiene, and OH&S procedures.
• Ability to review daily production reports and ensure accurate handovers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct manning per machine and fill manpower shortages.
• Review daily production reports and ensure proper handovers during shift change.
• Supervise machine run during trials/production and report non-conformities.
• Assign tasks and deadlines for the production team and follow up on goals.
• Guide the team to work safely and keep the plant premises tidy.
• Ensure hygiene procedures are implemented on the floor at all times.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with Maintenance Department.
• Ensure application of quality procedures in coordination with QC.
• Evaluate staff performance and suggest training programs.
• Comply with safety and environmental instructions and participate in toolbox talks.
