Job summary

The position involves maintaining machine cleanliness, recording production data, proposing process improvements, and collaborating with the team to meet specifications across substrates.

Responsibilities

• Operate finishing machines (e.g., slitters/rewinders, punching, embossing, bag making, core cutters, seamers, perforators) to produce finished structures on substrates such as paper, plastic or foil.
• Prepare box identification and ensure machine and premises are clean according to cleaning schedule.
• Fill production reports and monitor finishing process, reporting major issues to shift supervisor.
• Troubleshoot problems and communicate with team leader; follow up on minor modifications to meet specs.
• Provide quality control with samples to ensure adherence to standards.
• Propose methods to improve machine performance and efficiency to the team leader.

• Makes Sure that his machine and the premises are clean at all time by carrying out the machine cleaning schedule
• Tries to propose methods to improve his machine to the team leader
• To operate specific type of finishing machines, such as slitters/rewinders, punching machines, embossers, bag making machines, core cutters, seamers and perforators in order to produce finished structures of different substrates such as: paper, plastic or foil.
