Job summary

Seder Group Trading and Contracting is seeking a skilled machine operator/technician to monitor and optimize production lines in Riyadh. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, calibrating for quality, and performing regular maintenance to minimize downtime.

Collaboration with QA is essential to ensure compliance with industry standards. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read drawings, and experience with CNC machinery and shop tools.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in machine operation or related fields are an advantage.
• Familiarity with CNC machines, lathes, milling machines and related tooling.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for precise setup.
• Excellent communication to collaborate with team and convey technical information clearly.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machine operations in real-time and make immediate adjustments to maintain efficiency.
• Set up and calibrate machines according to production specifications for quality output.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Document production data including quantities and performance metrics for QC.
• Work with QA to perform inspections and tests on produced items to meet standards.
• Install, service, and repair pumps and related controls where applicable.

• Monitor machine operations in real-time to detect any anomalies making immediate adjustments as necessary to maintain efficiency
• Set up and calibrate machines according to production specifications ensuring optimal performance and product quality
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime and ensure consistent production flow
• Document production data including quantities produced and machine performance metrics for quality control and reporting purposes
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to perform inspections and tests on produced items to ensure they meet industry standards
• Installs, services, and repairs water and sewage pumps and related controls

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in machine operation or related fields are a significant advantage
• Familiarity with industry-specific machinery and tools, including CNC machines, lathes, and milling machines
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise machine setup
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey technical information clearly
