Job summary

Rashed Al Rashed & Sons Group is seeking a production operations leader to oversee scheduling, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration across materials, maintenance, and safety.

The role emphasizes TPM/Lean/Kaizen, process optimization, and coordination with R&D, HR, Finance, and procurement to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Draw up production schedule and monitor daily operations to ensure quality products.
• Maintain effective relations with management teams (Materials, Warehouse, Sanitation, Maintenance).
• Estimate job durations, costings, and set quality standards.
• Maintain product quality audits (SQMS, YUM, ISO 22000, BRCGS).
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Ensure quality by maintaining controls and ongoing inspections of production and process.
• Supervise and motivate the production team; seek improvements to reduce costs.
• Track projects and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
• Adhere to company policies and Good Production Practice.
• Coordinate supplier-delivered work for timely client reviews.
• Manage production and packaging through clear expectations to subordinates.
• Develop and implement TPM, Lean and Kaizen concepts in production.
• Collaborate with R&D on new recipes/products to meet marketing expectations.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to develop and execute preventive maintenance plans.
• Collaborate with HR to develop skills matrices and training plans.
• Collaborate with Finance to develop cost-effective bills of materials.
• Collaborate with supply chain to develop weekly production plans, inventory, and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with QA to prepare for audits and actions.
• Collaborate with HSE to implement health and safety policies.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure materials are supplied on time.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Drawing up of Production Schedule; Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure quality products are produced for our customers.
• Maintain effective relations with the Management team (Materials Management, Warehouse, Sanitation, and Maintenance)
• Estimating how long a job will take, costing it, and setting the quality standards.
• Maintain product quality audits such as SQMS, YUM, ISO22K, BRCGS etc.
• Monitoring the Production Processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
• Assure the meeting of quality expectations by maintaining and managing controls and continual personal inspection of production and process.
• Supervising and motivating a team of workers. Seek ways to improve the process and quality while reducing costs.
• Tracks projects and resources to ensure on time delivery.
• Follow all company policies and procedures as well as Good Production Practice.
• Coordinates delivery of work done by suppliers for timely reviews prior to client delivery.
• Manage the Production and Packaging processes through personal interaction and communicate clear expectations to all subordinates.
