Job description

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for executing and managing purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and co-packed products. The role ensures material availability at the right time, cost, and quality through close coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support operational continuity and high service levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute monthly, weekly, and daily purchasing plans for Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and consumables.
  • Coordinate with local suppliers to place purchase orders and schedule deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure compliance with minimum and maximum stock levels.
  • Track actual material consumption versus planned requirements and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Create, issue, and follow up on Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders (PR/PO) until final delivery.
  • Coordinate with co-pack suppliers regarding demand, supply, and operational requirements.
  • Monitor supplier compliance by comparing planned purchasing quantities versus actual deliveries.
  • Prepare regular reports such as inventory, MRP, aging, and co-pack reports.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Demand Planning, Marketing, Production, Warehouse, and Supply Planning teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and cost optimization.
