King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals - KFUPM seeks a senior analytics professional to lead supply chain reporting and governance. You will develop dashboards, define KPIs, and supervise a team to deliver timely insights for leadership and governance forums.
The role emphasizes data quality, cross-functional collaboration with Finance and IT, and ongoing process improvement in a university-scale environment.
Develop, maintain and quality-assure Supply Chain dashboards, management reports and performance insights covering procurement pipeline, cycle times, spend, savings, compliance, supplier performance, contract status, workload and service levels. Translate analysis into clear actions, risks and recommendations for Supply Chain leadership and governance forums.
Establish and maintain consistent KPI definitions, calculation logic, data sources, reporting cadence and controls. Coordinate with process owners, Finance and IT to validate data, resolve reporting gaps and improve the use of Oracle and approved reporting tools.
Allocate work, set priorities and review the outputs of Reporting & Analytics Specialists to ensure accurate, timely and decision-useful reporting. Coach the team in analytics, data visualisation, documentation and stakeholder engagement; manage delivery against agreed reporting calendars and SLAs.
Support the annual review and controlled update of Supply Chain procedures, templates, trackers and reporting standards, in line with the policy and approved governance requirements. Conduct periodic compliance and performance reviews, document findings, assign corrective actions with process owners and monitor closure.
Work across Supply Chain, Finance, IT and end-user stakeholders to understand reporting needs, validate insights and coordinate improvement initiatives. Maintain a transparent action log for material performance, control and data-quality issues and elevate significant matters to the Director.
Academic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent is required Further specialised education in the field would be considered advantageous CIPS / CSCP, data analytics or business intelligence certification is a plus Professional Experience 5-8 years of experience in reporting, analytics, procurement operations, supply chain centre of excellence, consulting or related roles Demonstrated experience in dashboard development, KPI governance, data quality and performance reporting Experience supervising analysts or coordinating a reporting work programme is advantageous Prior experience in a University, Government, or large institutional environment is advantageous
