Job summary

NOV is seeking a Quality Inspector to lead quality assurance and control activities in accordance with the NOV quality management system. The role focuses on receiving and in-process inspections of materials and precision machined components with very tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent experience in the oil and gas industry.
• 4-5 years of experience in quality inspection or QA/QC roles.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control Inspectors validate that materials and machined components are compliant; inspect incoming material and shop floor components with tight tolerances.
• Conduct receiving inspections on incoming material or components against purchase orders, drawings, procedures, specs and codes; complete related inspection reports.
• Perform dimensional, in-process, and final inspections using manual measurement tools and fixtures; prepare related inspection reports.
• Collaborate with Production to identify non-conformances and support corrective actions and issue resolution.
• Prepare Non-Conformance Reports and Corrective Action Reports for QC leadership review.
• Assist with Quality Surveillance of sub suppliers to ensure conformity.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly; perform basic preventative maintenance as required.
• Experience in oil and gas is valued; adhere to Saudi law, company policies, ISO Quality Program and safety regulations.
• May perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
