Job summary

Mastek is seeking an experienced BI Analyst/Developer to join onsite in Riyadh. The role focuses on migrating SAP BO reports to Power BI, building robust dashboards, and ensuring governance and security across the analytics platform.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in BI with SAP BO, strong Python skills, and Core Banking domain knowledge. You will design data models, optimise performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver value-driven analytics.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in BI with SAP BO and Power BI.
• Python expertise is required.
• Core Banking experience is required.
• Dashboard & Report Development: design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Data Modelling & Transformation: integrate data sources, build data models, apply Power Query and DAX.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Implement Row-Level Security and governance standards for audit readiness.
• Monitor and optimise report and dataset performance and refresh cycles.
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and drive adoption of analytics outputs.
• Manage Power BI Service workspaces, datasets, gateways, and deployments.

Experience Level – 5 to 8 Years

• Experience in SAP Business Objects (SAP BO) along with Power BI, as the customer has a roadmap to migrate reports from SAP BO to Power BI.
• Python expertise is also required.
• Core Banking Experience Must.
• Dashboard & Report Development — Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that convert complex data into clear, decision-ready insights.
• Data Modelling & Transformation — Integrate multiple data sources, build efficient data models, and apply Power Query and DAX to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reporting-readiness.
• Governance & Security — Implement Row-Level Security, enforce data governance standards, and ensure all reports meet compliance and audit requirements.
• Performance Optimisation — Monitor and tune report and dataset performance to maintain fast load times, reliable refresh cycles, and a stable analytics environment.
• Stakeholder Engagement — Collaborate with business units to capture requirements, iterate on designs, and ensure delivered solutions drive real adoption and value.
• Continuous Improvement — Proactively identify enhancements, retire redundant reports, and keep analytics outputs aligned with evolving business and data platform needs.
• Platform Administration — Manage Power BI Service workspaces, datasets, gateway configuration, and production deployments to ensure a well-governed analytics environment.
