Job summary

BEC Arabia, a leader in construction, infrastructure, and engineering, is seeking an experienced PMV - Maintenance Foreman to oversee the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and vehicles in Makkah. You will develop preventive maintenance plans, supervise a team of technicians, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 8+ years in maintenance, CMMS proficiency, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, machinery, and vehicles, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using CMMS.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA, ISO 45001, and other safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid Saudi residency (Iqama) and compliance with Saudi Labor Law.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and repair activities of heavy equipment, machinery, and vehicles to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all PMV assets.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with PMV Manager to prioritize maintenance tasks and allocate resources.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all maintenance activities.
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and coordinate procurement to avoid shortages.
• Train and mentor junior technicians to foster continuous improvement.
• Document all maintenance activities using CMMS software.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely equipment availability for construction activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues promptly.
• Implement quality control measures to meet manufacturer and regulatory standards.
• Support audits and inspections by internal and external stakeholders.
