Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to support the delivery of STP, WWTP, and DCP projects.

You will develop, monitor, and control schedules across all project phases, ensuring timely completion and efficient execution. You will collaborate with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to provide accurate planning, progress monitoring, reporting, and schedule risk analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of planning, scheduling, and project controls experience.
Minimum 5 years GCC/Middle East regional experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience on STP, WWTP, DCP or similar utility projects.
Experience in EPC and infrastructure project environments.

Responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
Prepare baseline schedules, WBS, milestones, and execution plans.
Develop engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning schedules.
Establish activity sequences, logic links, and critical path networks.
Prepare recovery and acceleration schedules when required.
Monitor progress against baselines and analyze schedule performance.
Forecast completion dates and manage milestone compliance.
Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards.
Support delay analysis, EOT evaluations, and what-if scenarios.
Coordinate with project controls and cost teams on schedule and budget.
