Job summary

WSP seeks a Senior Planning Engineer in Jeddah with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 15+ years of relevant experience. You will develop, maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6, and monitor progress to report milestones and deliverables.

You will coordinate with project teams, consultants and contractors, analyze critical paths, and propose mitigation measures to recover delays while supporting cost control and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on timelines, milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants and contractors to gather planning data.
• Analyze critical paths and constraints to determine the effect of changes on the schedule.
• Propose mitigation measures to recover slippage or avoid potential delays.
• Participate in progress meetings with client and other stakeholders.
• Prepare extension of time (EOT) claims, delay analysis and other contractual time-related documentation.
• Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with client requirements and standards.
• Support cost control and risk management functions as required.
• Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to align schedule with resource and material availability.
