Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer for a major project in Jeddah. You will develop and maintain schedules using Primavera P6, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and drive on-time delivery.

You will analyze critical paths, prepare reports, and support cost control and risk management while ensuring compliance with client requirements. This on-site role offers exposure to landmark, international projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to gather relevant planning data.
• Analyze critical paths and constraints to determine the effect of changes on the schedule.
• Propose mitigation measures to recover slippage or avoid potential delays.
• Participate in progress meetings with client and other stakeholders.
• Prepare extension of time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, and other contractual time-related documentation.
• Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with client requirements and standards.
• Support cost control and risk management functions as required.
• Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to align schedule with resource and material availability.
