Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced EPC Planner in Jeddah to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and coordinate between engineering, procurement, and construction teams. The role requires 7–12 years in EPC planning with strong commercial awareness and proficiency in Primavera P6.

The position involves preparing baselines, recovery plans, and performance dashboards, while supporting cost control and schedule decisions.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience in EPC/project controls.
• BTech or equivalent degree required.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and update EPC project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards.
• Procurement & Manufacturing Coordination: Track material procurement and vendor deliveries.
• Project Controls & Commercial Support: Assist in cost control, cash flow, and EOT evaluations.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams; attend progress reviews.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Scheduling

Develop, maintain, and update detailed EPC project schedules using Primavera P6.

Prepare and manage baseline schedules, recovery schedules, and look-ahead plans.

Monitor project progress against approved schedules and highlight deviations.

Perform critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays.

Forecast project completion dates and support project management in schedule decision-making.

• Progress Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and client submissions.

Develop project dashboards, progress measurement systems, S-curves, and resource histograms.

Track productivity, resource utilization, and key project performance indicators (KPIs).

Maintain project planning records and reporting documentation.

• Procurement & Manufacturing Coordination

Monitor material procurement, manufacturing, inspection, shipment, and site delivery milestones.

Forecast material requirements and coordinate manufacturing clearances in line with project schedules.

Track vendor and subcontractor deliverables against contractual milestones.

Support timely mobilization of suppliers and subcontractors.

• Project Controls & Commercial Support

Prepare cost summaries and mobilization estimates based on received quotations.

Develop techno-commercial reports to monitor project financial performance and overall project health.

Assist in cash flow forecasting, cost-to-complete monitoring, and project performance analysis.

Support change management, delay analysis, and Extension of Time (EOT) evaluations when required.

• Stakeholder Coordination

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, HSE, and commercial teams for schedule updates.

Participate in progress review meetings with SEC, National Grid, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Support project management in identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures.
