The Career Magnet in Al Ahsa is seeking a Piping/Pipeline Hydrotest Engineer for a full-time, on-site role. You will plan, prepare and execute hydrostatic tests for pipelines and piping systems aligned with Aramco and international standards.

Review designs, perform calculations, verify materials, and select test equipment and media. Coordination with construction, QA and safety teams, field monitoring, and documentation of results are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Pipeline Engineering and Pipeline Design for oil and gas projects.
• Solid understanding of Pipeline Integrity and Corrosion for reliability assessment.
• Proficiency in calculations related to pressure testing, stress analysis, and fluid mechanics.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience on Aramco pipeline projects, particularly hydrotest planning and execution.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, Aramco standards and QA practices.
• Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements during field activities.
• Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary site teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and technical drawing review software.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Ahsa for a Piping/Pipeline Hydrotest Engineer with Aramco project experience in oil and gas pipeline projects. The role involves planning, preparing, and executing hydrostatic tests for pipelines and piping systems in accordance with Aramco and international standards. The engineer will review pipeline designs and test plans, perform technical calculations, verify material specifications, and ensure proper selection of test equipment and test media. Daily tasks include coordinating with construction, quality, and safety teams; monitoring field activities; overseeing test procedures; and documenting test results, punch lists, and completion certificates. The role also includes identifying integrity or corrosion issues revealed during testing, recommending corrective actions, and supporting compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
