Job summary

BlueCare is seeking expressions of interest for a Personal Carer at Springwood Yurana Aged Care Facility. The role involves compassionate daily living support, following a personalised care plan, and assisting residents with social activities.

Eligible candidates may have a Certificate III in Aged Care and must meet probity and NDIS screening requirements; casual loading applies for transitional or casual shifts.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
• Willingness to obtain NDIS Workers Screening Clearance and satisfy probity checks.

Responsibilities

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene and meals.
• Assist based on individual Care Plans.
• Support participation in community-based activities.

Future opportunities may require availability across AM Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm PM Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm Night Duty: 10:00pm - 6:30am

Remuneration: $36.32 per hour (+25% for casual rate $45.40) + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Penalties & Allowances + Employee discounts

About the role:

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at mealtimes and general mobility
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Role Requirements

• Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
