Job summary

NDT Corrosion Control Services Co. is seeking an experienced payroll administrator to process employee payroll, verify timekeeping data, and maintain earnings, deductions, and tax records. The role involves preparing paychecks, electronic payments, and payroll tax reports in compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in payroll administration, a finance/accounting background, and familiarity with ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks. CPP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration or similar role.
  • CPP certification or similar credential highly regarded.
  • Experience with payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process employee payroll by gathering, verifying, and entering timekeeping data.
  • Maintain detailed records of earnings, deductions, and taxes and prepare paychecks and electronic payments.
  • Assist in preparation and filing of payroll tax returns and reports per regulations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies and tax withholding with professionalism.
