Job summary

The Payroll Specialist at Tamer Group is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations across the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

The role collaborates with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to support governance, statutory requirements, and continuous process improvements, while handling confidential data and maintaining high data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience in a corporate or multi-entity environment.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, labor regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time across the Group.
  • Validate payroll data including new hires, terminations, salary changes, allowances, deductions, overtime, and leave balances.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, labor regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to resolve issues.
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for stakeholders.
  • Maintain payroll records with data accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Support payroll audits and ensure documentation is audit-ready.
  • Assist with payroll system enhancements, testing and process improvements.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Provide payroll insights and analysis to Total Rewards initiatives as required.

The role supports payroll governance, statutory compliance, and continuous process improvements while collaborating closely with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time across the Group.
  • Validate payroll data, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, allowances, deductions, overtime, and leave balances.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for internal stakeholders.
  • Manage payroll records while maintaining data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Support payroll audits and ensure all payroll documentation is audit-ready.
  • Assist with payroll system enhancements, testing, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support Total Rewards initiatives by providing payroll insights and analysis when required.

Qualifications & Experience:
