Job summary

PayTabs is seeking an experienced Implementation Engineer to lead production deployments, configuration management, and post‑live support in a fast-paced payments environment. You will drive release governance, coordinate cross-functional teams, and optimize deployment processes to ensure stable, secure go-lives.

Qualifications

• Payment domain knowledge, merchant implementations.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, release management, deployment automation, and environment management.
• Strong Linux, SQL, APIs, scripting, and deployment tools experience.
• Root cause analysis and proactive troubleshooting abilities.
• Adaptability to manage multiple deployments under production timelines.
• Knowledge of change management and rollback procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end production deployments with planning, configuration, validation and release execution.
• Perform pre-deployment readiness checks and coordinate with development, QA, infra and operations teams.
• Manage application and environment configurations across staging and production environments.
• Validate deployments through smoke tests, transaction verification, and post-deployment monitoring.
• Troubleshoot deployment, configuration and production issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Support CI/CD pipeline activities and deployment automation initiatives.
• Maintain deployment documents, release notes, and runbooks for governance.
