Job summary

Bureau Veritas India is seeking a PAUT/TOFD Inspector to perform ultrasonic testing (PAUT/TOFD) on diverse job types, collecting data on site and interpreting results using Tomoview/OMNIPC software. You will prepare scan plans with ES Beam and generate client-specific reports.

The role requires an NDT Level II in PAUT/TOFD (BINDT PCN or CSWIP), 2+ years of PAUT/TOFD experience, and fluent English. Willingness to work at height and at client sites across various industries is essential.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or BSc (or equivalent).
NDT Level II certification by BINDT (PCN) or CSWIP in PAUT/TOFD.
Minimum 2 years of PAUT and/or TOFD experience.
Knowledge of other advanced NDT methods is an added advantage.
Able to work at height and at site in different industries.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Perform AUT or Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and TOFD on various job types; liaison with clients.
Prepare Scan Plan using ES Beam tool, collect data at site and interpret with Tomoview/OMNIPC software.
Prepare reports as per client requirements.
Operate PAUT equipment (Olympus MX2/MX3).
Work at height and at site across industries.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
