Job summary

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is seeking a skilled NDE Technician specializing in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to join the Quality Department. You will perform UT on cast and forged components to detect internal discontinuities and ensure compliance with client specs, internal procedures, and international codes.

Reporting to the NDE Engineer, you will support cross-functional NDT activities including RT, MT, PT, and VT; maintain logs, calibration records, and MES uploads; and uphold EHSS safety

Qualifications

• Must have proven UT inspection capability on castings and forgings.
• Experience with ASME, ASTM, and EN codes and customer specs.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily UT inspection schedules on production lines.
• Maintain NDE shop inventory and consumables.
• Prepare UT scan plans and technique sheets per applicable standards.
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors, customers, and auditors during UT audits.
• Calibrate and verify NDE equipment, blocks, and DAC/DGS curves.
• Maintain detailed UT logs and MES upload of inspection results.
• Ensure EHSS compliance and safe shop floor practices.
• Support cross-functional NDT activities (RT, MT, PT, VT) as needed.
