Job summary

Applus Velosi KSA is seeking a PAUT/TOFD Technician to perform advanced ultrasonic inspections using PAUT and TOFD techniques. You will inspect welds, materials, and structures to assess integrity and detect defects, interpret test results, and prepare detailed inspection reports.

Candidates must have PAUT and TOFD certifications with at least 3 years of NDT experience, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform PAUT and TOFD inspections on welds, materials, and structures to assess integrity and detect defects.
• Interpret ultrasonic test results and provide recommendations for corrective actions if necessary.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings and suggestions for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety protocols.
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of PAUT and TOFD equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality teams to resolve any technical issues.
• Follow standard operating procedures for all testing and inspection activities.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and certification documentation.
• Ensure proper documentation of all inspection activities and provide support during audits.
• Train and mentor junior technicians in PAUT and TOFD inspection techniques.

Key duties include interpreting test results, preparing detailed inspection reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Candidates must have relevant PAUT and TOFD certifications, with at least 3 years of experience in non-destructive testing (NDT), preferably in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors.
