Job summary

JobCenter is seeking a part-time Accountant for our Riyadh, Saudi Arabia location. The role is open to African nationals and offers flexible 20-hour weeks. You will handle daily accounting tasks, assist with budgeting, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Ideal candidates will have proven accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with QuickBooks or Sage. Excellent communication and independence are encouraged for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks or Sage).
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks such as recording transactions and reconciling bank statements.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare and submit tax returns on behalf of the company.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Keep up-to-date with relevant accounting laws and regulations.
