Job summary

Fakeeh Care Group in Jeddah seeks a PACS Administrator to maintain RIS/PACS systems and related integrations, ensuring smooth IT operations across the group.

The role covers day-to-day system management, user access, maintenance with Siemens, and providing end-user support for HIS, software, email, and desktops. Candidate should have 0–3 years experience and a Bachelor's in IT or CS.

English fluency is required; Arabic is preferred. Certifications such as CIIP or PACS Administrator are desirable.

Qualifications

• PACS Administrator with 0–2 years of experience; Senior PACS Administrator: 3+ years experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic preferred.
• CIIP or PACS Administrator Certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage RIS/PACS servers, system integrations, workstations, and physician referral portals.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance for RIS/PACS and integrated systems.
• Maintain RIS user Lists for radiologists, technicians, receptionists, typists, and clinicians.
• Coordinate maintenance/upgrades with Siemens and department leadership.
• Ensure backups and DR readiness for PACS/RIS and high availability.
• Provide end-user support for HIS, software, email, antivirus, and desktop apps.
• Install and configure systems, HIS software, hardware, computers, printers, and peripherals.

Job description

Job Purpose

To maintain, organize, and supervise all technical aspects related to RIS/PACS systems and integrations, ensuring smooth operations of the IT infrastructure across designated Fakeeh Care entities, and providing adequate end-user technical support as needed.

Key Responsibilities And Duties

• Manage all technical issues related to the proper functioning of RIS/PACS servers, system integrations, workstations, and physicians’ referral portals.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance for critical areas to ensure RIS/PACS and integrated systems meet business needs.
• Maintain and update user lists on the RIS, including radiologists, technicians, receptionists, typists, and clinicians.
• Schedule periodic maintenance and upgrades with Siemens in coordination with the System Integration Manager, Radiology Department Director, and administration.
• Ensure daily backups of PACS/RIS are completed and daily/weekly tape changes are performed on time. Additionally ensures High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions are in-sync, ready and optimized.
• Demonstrate new techniques, equipment, and procedures to staff.
• Provide basic support for end-user applications, including HIS, software, email, antivirus, internet, and desktop applications, resolving issues until completion.
• Install and configure systems, HIS applications, software, and hardware, including computers, printers, access points, and peripheral devices.
• Prepare operating systems for computers by installing Windows OS and desktop applications.
• Assess user needs and business requirements related to end-user tasks and create assessment reports.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Requirements

• Experience: PACS Administrator: 0–2 years of experience in PACS administration or a related role. Senior PACS Administrator: Minimum of 3 years of experience in PACS administration or a related role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Language: Excellent command of oral and written English and prefer Arabic.
• Licenses / Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., CIIP, PACS Administrator Certification) are highly desirable.
