Magrabi Health in Riyadh invites an optometrist to join our ophthalmology team. The role covers comprehensive contact lens care, refraction, and fitting of soft and hard lenses for myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, aphakia and post-surgical cases.

You will supervise subordinate staff, participate in resident training, perform low-vision evaluations, and contribute input on clinical performance of contact lens technicians.

Responsabilidades

• Perform optometry examinations, testing, refraction and fitting of soft and hard contact lenses for patients with myopia, hyperopia, aphakia, astigmatism, post-surgical cases, i.e. trauma, cataract, PKP and aberrations such as keratoconus, scarring, trauma, droplet keratopathy.
• Manage contact lens supplies, lenses, equipment and solutions.
• Ensures compliance of subordinate staff with all hospital and departmental regulations, policies and procedures.
• Perform low vision evaluations.
• Supervise pediatric aphakic and rigid contact lens services.
• Participate in the training of subordinates and residents.
• Provide input regarding clinical performance of contact lenses technicians/assistants as requested.
