Job summary

A leading national airline in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Tool Management Specialist to ensure effective tool storage and management in compliance with aviation regulations. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in the airline or aerospace sector, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills. Overview

Riyadh Air (RX), headquartered in the Saudi Capital, is the new national airline that's shaping the future of flying. It seeks to lead the aviation industry by transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub – a digitally native airline that will connect the kingdom to more than 100 destinations.

Responsiblities
  • Ensure tool storage and that all tools in stores are in serviceable condition in accordance with GACA regulations.
  • Develop progressive relationships with Maintenance Duty Managers to improve stores approach and provide seamless support to line maintenance activities.
  • Control and manage tools stores activities related to storekeeping, tools handling, handling techniques, tools segregation, storage conditions, packaging, shelf-life control, calibration program control, and data integrity.
  • Maintain health and safety standards while ensuring tools are properly controlled, documented, and readily available to support uninterrupted maintenance operations.
  • Support line maintenance operations with precise tool management and timely, compliant execution.
About You / Qualifications
  • Diploma qualified or equivalent; 2 to 5 years of working experience in the Airline, MRO, or Aerospace industry with strong understanding of tools management and storekeeping practices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and exceptional attention to detail essential for maintaining accurate inventory control and calibration programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with Maintenance Duty Managers and line maintenance teams, accompanied by professionalism and a strong work ethic.
  • Preferred: Logistics Management Skill Course training; Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA) certification; familiarity with airframe and engine manufacturers; ability to hold appropriate police security clearance required for the role.
