Job summary

The Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company is seeking a warehouse operative to support daily operations at our facility in Jeddah. You will oversee the shift plan, delegate duties, and resolve exceptions to ensure smooth workflows.

The role requires strict adherence to SOPs for inbound and outbound activities and meticulous record-keeping. You will also manage documentation, maintain a clean and compliant store environment, and ensure waste handling aligns with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and storekeeping is preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and ensure accuracy in inbound/outbound processes.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and prioritize daily warehouse activities to meet requirements.
• Ensure inbound goods are received per SOPs and outbound orders are picked correctly.
• Maintain records, support SHEQ compliance, and assist the Operations Manager as needed.
• Keep the store environment clean, hygienic, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Handle waste/leakage per company procedures and document accordingly.

Job description

Key Accountabilities

1. Warehouse Operations

• Ensure the shift plan is applied in accordance with the facility’s daily requirements.
• Delegate and prioritize all duties to achieve objectives.
• Recognise and resolve exceptions as they arise.
• Ensure all inbound products are received as per SOPs.
• Ensure all storage operations are done as per SOPs
• Ensure all outbound orders are picked accurately and on time as per SOPs.
• Ensure all records (both electronic and paper) are maintained and recorded correctly.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Operations Manager and Supervisor.
• Maintain the companies' standards in relation to H&S, Housekeeping, Food Safety, Accuracy, Discipline and Performance.

2. Documentation/administration

Process all required administration / documents related to issuing, receiving and returns as per company Policy and procedures.

3. Waste/leakage handling

Dispose of wasted products and record the waste in accordance with company procedures.

4.Store environment

Maintain the company’s standards in relation to Housekeeping and Hygiene.

5.SHEQ

• Ensure all SHEQ regulations and procedures are applied for storekeeping.
• Maintain the company's standards in relation to H&S, Food Safety.
