Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Network Engineer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to support OT and enterprise networking for the RCRC Phase-2 program. You will coordinate with IT, Cybersecurity, and vendors to maintain secure, resilient infrastructure on-site.

The role covers Linux server administration, VPN connectivity, firewall management, and systems integration across live transportation operations. A strong background in OT and enterprise networks is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 5-10 years of progressive network engineering and OT experience.
• Experience with Linux/Ubuntu server administration and patching.
• Proficient in VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall administration.
• Experience with enterprise firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco).

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, and administration of Parsons iNET server and network infrastructure for the RCRC Phase-2 program.
• Coordinate with RCRC IT and Cybersecurity on requirements.
• Administer Ubuntu and Linux servers, patching, updates, monitoring, troubleshooting.
• Support VPN connectivity between Parsons systems and external stakeholders.
• Support firewall policies, routing configurations, access control requirements.
• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot networking infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches).
• Coordinate with ITS and integration teams on services, connectivity, and support.
• Participate in MDT and change-management activities, migrations, rollbacks, and recovery.
• Support backup verification, disaster recovery, and resiliency planning.
• Assist with cybersecurity compliance activities (vulnerability management, hardening, access governance).
• Monitor system health and ITS integrations, troubleshoot operations.
• Prepare technical docs, diagrams, procedures, and inventories.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support integrated transportation operations.
• Provide general IT and networking support for the program.
