Qualifications

  • Internal candidates must have two years of A or A/B performance.

Responsibilities

  • Launch the Hematology portfolio in Saudi Arabia and build relationships with KEEs and healthcare institutions.
  • Deliver sales targets and LEAD KPIs for the territory.
  • Provide solutions as trusted advisor to HCPs and ensure product availability.
  • Develop and execute a robust territory business plan aligned to commercial strategy.
  • Support marketing tasks and implement annual plan with new campaigns.
  • Develop market intelligence and forecast alignment with teams.
  • Drive end-to-end patient solutions and coordinate with supply chain.
  • Coordinate with tender team on prices, RFQ follow-ups, and tender process.
  • Coordinate with market access to develop access plans.

Job description

As an Oncology Account Manager, you will manage the soon-to-be-launched Haematology portfolio in your assigned territory through engagement with relevant stakeholders, deliver patient-focused detailing tailored for HCPs, ensure the timely availability of GSK’s Oncology products for cancer patients, lead the work for brand formulary enlisting, and ensure expedited access in key accounts. You will be accountable for yearly sales targets in the assigned territory. You will work with the Oncology cross-functional team and implement the commercial strategies to deliver performance through an end-to-end solutions-driven approach to account management. This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career; these responsibilities include some of the following:

Core Responsibilities:

Successfully launch the new Hematology portfolio of GSK in Saudi Arabia. Establish strong relationships with Hematology Key External Experts, healthcare institutions, and Oncology societies. Deliver sales targets and LEAD KPIs for the assigned territory and play a pivotal role in the overall country brand and therapy area objectives. Deliver commercial strategies in a defined territory & offer the appropriate solutions by being a trusted Advisor to HCPs. Monitor product performance weekly & monthly and recommend required actions through developing and effectively executing a robust territory business plan aligned to commercial sales strategy. Support in marketing specific tasks & driving the premium implementation of the annual operational plan, including new campaign development and rollout based on market needs while securing necessary medical & regulatory approvals. Develop market intelligence & initiate the forecasting process in alignment with the commercial trade channel and marketing teams to reflect the actual market demand. Drive end-to-end patient solutions and tracking to support the product supply process. Coordinate with supply chain and commercial trade channel teams to ensure product availability and manage the products' shelf life. Work closely with the tender team to provide timely feedback on proposed prices, RFQ follow-up, and overall tender process in coordination with the First Line Sales Leader Coordinate with the market access team to develop and implement access plans for a defined territory and establish a clear access roadmap with the key accounts. Conduct frequent effective external meetings and interactions with HCPs to drive disease & product awareness /education. Prioritize the efforts & resources through the robust market segmentation & targeting of assigned territory to optimize activities. Establish long-lasting relationships with scientific societies & KEEs to leverage advocacy & support patient care across the region. Master implementation of patient-focused detailing through excellence in product & disease knowledge using full collaterals. Ensure all expenses are maintained within budgets and resources are optimized.

  • Build and maintain compliance knowledge and implement governance processes to ensure that activities adhere to GSK's prevailing codes, policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Ensure strong business partnerships with stakeholders to manage issues that may arise and determine approved courses of action.
  • Develop collaborative relationships based on trust, openness, honesty, and transparency.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Saudi National Pharmacy degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • A Saudi Commission for Health Specialist card (SCFHS) is required.
  • Successful track record of performance.
  • Oncology/Hematology experience is a must (for external candidates).
  • Internal candidates must have track records for the past two years ( two A or A& B ).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including sound business analytics, business case development, and commercial modelling.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate high-quality scientific content effectively and succinctly.
  • Ability to manage a bigger geographical territory with a proven record of good performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Advanced understanding of the pharmaceutical industry & readiness to lead GSK's new ways of working as opposed to traditional business models.
  • High commitment to ethical values-based management.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and persistent, able to meet deadlines and be effective under pressure.
  • Ability to travel more than 40% of the time.
