A leading maritime service provider in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Technician for Onboard Instrumentation to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will perform daily instrumentation activities on ships and rigs, demonstrating a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in shipyard or offshore environments. Description: The Technician, Onboard Instrumentation is responsible for performing daily instrumentation/automation activities onboard ships and rigs and at workshops. This role ensures that all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and the International Maritime Industries Management System (IMIMS). The Instrumentation Technician works closely with the Instrumentation Superintendent, Electrical Foremen, Electrical Chargehands, and addresses site issues, ensuring timely and successful completion of assigned scopes.
Education: Diploma in electronics or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in shipyard/ship repair/Offshore.
Competencies: Instrumentation/automation related professional qualifications or relevant.
