Job summary

AS Contracting Co is seeking a Storekeeper for a pipeline construction project. The role involves daily recording of material receipt and consumption, stock verification, and timely material issue as per indent.

You will monitor wastage, collect balance materials at day end, and update stock boards. Additional duties include fortnightly reports with junior engineers and liaison with suppliers to ensure timely supply.

Qualifications

• Record the store material receipt and consumption on a daily basis.
• Check the stock against records.
• Receive, stock, and record receipts; assist J.E. to prepare quality reports of the received materials.
• Issue materials as per the indent for different works.
• Supervise on-site material wastage and improper use; recollect balance/unused materials at day end.
• Hand over material charges to night security; update stock display boards/slates.
• Prepare fortnightly/monthly consumption reports with junior engineers.
• Prepare a list of excess material and update stocks periodically.
• Inform engineers about balance material status to raise further indent.
• Follow up with material suppliers with consent from purchase department.
