Metalock Engineering Group seeks an On-Site Machinist to perform precision machining at client sites, including refineries and power plants. Responsibilities include operating portable equipment, reading drawings, and welding with TIG to restore critical components.
Role requires 5+ years in field/onsite machining, ability to interpret tolerances, and safety certifications. Work spans shop and customer premises with reporting to the Projects team.

The On-Site Machinist is responsible for performing precision machining activities at customer facilities, industrial plants, refineries, power stations, and construction sites. The role involves operating portable machining equipment to repair, modify, and restore critical equipment components while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and project requirements.
Involve and participate independently all On site and shop machine operations like setup, shaping, grinding, drilling, boring, milling etc. The work will be carried out both in shop and at customer sites.
2. Administration & reporting
Responsible for the reporting all finding, operations, processing of each completed machining task (selection of raw material, machining processes, consumables, quality, inspection) to Supervisor.
3. Customer contact
Responsible for the technical feedback about the job status to the Supervisor.
Education
Experience
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in ON site Machining components/parts.
