Job summary

Datamatics Technologies in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to install, configure, and support data platform components in on-premises environments across Development, QA, and Production. You will work with VMware-based infrastructure, Git integration, and enterprise security (IAM and PAM) to ensure stable deployments.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience with data platforms, container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and strong collaboration with Data

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Data Platform Engineering experience.
• Experience installing and configuring data platform components in on-premises environments.
• Strong knowledge of VMware-based infrastructure, Git integration, IAM and PAM.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain data platform components in on-premises environments.
• Perform day-to-day Data Platform Administration, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and operations.
• Deploy and support data platform components on VMware-based infrastructure.
• Integrate configurations with Git-based version control.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Infra, DevOps, Security, Network and Applications teams to maintain a stable platform.
