Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Saudi Arabia is seeking a STATIC TECHNICIAN II to maintain static equipment and piping systems, lead a team of technicians, and perform installation, maintenance, and repair as per company procedures. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to SATORP standards.

You will operate standard tools, perform tests, review work permits, and ensure timely completion of jobs with exceptional housekeeping and fault prevention. Previous oil & gas maintenance experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Engineering diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 years oil & gas maintenance experience (High School).
• Minimum 4 years oil & gas maintenance experience (Diploma).
• Valid certification from a recognized third-party body or Saudi institute.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of oil & gas facilities.
• Well organized with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive jobs, work instructions, drawings and specs from Supervisor and perform work.
• Lead the team of Technicians.
• Use right tools and equipment and operate heavy duty tools from Central tool room.
• Operate basic machines such as grinder, power saw, drill press, threading machine.
• Perform installation and maintenance per SATORP procedures.
• Carry out necessary testing (hydro, pneumatic).
• Receive necessary work permits before starting work.
• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP safety standards.
• Consult with Supervisor for technical issues.
• Maintain good housekeeping during and after completion of jobs.
• Achieve completion of jobs to quality and schedule according to company standards.
• Comply with safety, health and environment standards and procedures.
• Report near misses and unsafe conditions/acts.
• Attend scheduled safety and technical training.
