About The Role

Offshore Technician — Full-time, Permanent

Dammam, Onsite/Offshore

The role involves operating, servicing, and maintaining the hire fleet in line with Scantech Offshore’s maintenance procedures. We are looking for a team player with a flexible, can-do attitude and someone who is comfortable working in high-temperature environments. Full training will be provided on our key product lines. Although the position is based in KSA to support operations across the Middle East, there may be opportunities to work on projects globally.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Preparation of equipment to meet Hire Office requirements.
  • Ensuring service procedures and standards are followed in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Maintaining safety standards as per the Occupational Health & safety Regulations.
  • Packaging, maintenance and operation of company equipment both onshore & offshore as required following company service guidelines & procedures.
  • Completion of service reports, minimum spares stock, timesheets, performance assessments, handover sheets and other project paperwork as required following company procedures.
  • Maintain, Delivery, decals & signage.
  • Calibrate relevant safety devices.
  • Carry out third party inspections.
  • Pressure test hoses and Pressure Pumps when required.
  • Take part in the safety culture of the company.
  • Always maintaining a professional and courteous approach to customers and colleagues.
  • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Manager within the timeframe specified, in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are deemed competent to fulfill these.
What We’re Looking For
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks and priorities in accordance with business requirements.
  • Mechanical Experience/background and qualifications.
  • Computer literate i.e Word, Power Point & Excel.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Diesel engine training /shutdown systems.
  • Pressure testing awareness training.
  • QHSE awareness training.
  • Offshore survival training/BOSIET.
  • H2S awareness training.
  • Slips, trips & fall awareness training.
  • Steam Boiler operation and maintenance.
  • Air compressor operation and maintenance.
  • Hydraulic experience.
  • Electrical, generator experience.
  • Full driving license, advantageous.
